No longer shackled by the oppression
of miniskirts and see-thru shirts,
my sisters stand proud.
Covered by cloth and more so by conviction
submission to Allah, they stand apart from the crowd.
The taunts, the jeers, the stares, the leers
Never fazing or dissuading them from following the deen.
Real women they be, the epitome of femininity
strong, secure, complete human beings.
Not slaves to the world of fashion
which is always askin'
for women to dress in as less as they can.
Their hijab is for the sake of Allah
in imaan and taqwa
they refuse to be objectified by man.
...Such are my sisters in Islam.
I am a MUSLIM WOMAN,
That says I'm smart,
That says I'm above this societies standards,
That says I don't need to be looked at for one to see how beautiful I am,
That says I will be appreciated for the human being I am,
That says I am beautiful, inside and out.
A Woman was made from the rib of man,
she was not created from his head to top him,
nor from his feet to be stepped on.
She was made from his side to be close to him,
from beneath his arm to be protected by him and near his heart to be loved by him.
Ya Allah.....

Unless everyone is happy with me

Unless everyone that I may have hurt has forgiven me

Unless Muhammad peace be upon Him is proud of me

Unless the tears in my eyes when I cry to You are crystal clear
Don't let me die
Unless I have received the key to Your Garden of Peace.
I Want To Die With My Forehead On The Ground, The Sunnah In My Heart, Allah On My Mind, Quran On My Tongue, And Tears In My Eyes.
Imam Al-Ghazali Rahmaullah:- Never have I dealt with anything more difficult than my own soul, which sometimes helps me and sometimes opposes me.
"O you who believe! What is the matter with you, that when you are asked to march forth in the Cause of Allah, you cling heavily to the earth? Are you pleased with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But little is the enjoyment of the life of this world as compared with the Hereafter."
[Qur'an, 09:38]
The Qur'an says about the prohibition of murder, (...Take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus does He command you, that ye may learn wisdom.) (Al-An`am 6: 151).
"The Sunnah is like the Ark of Noah. Whoever embarks upon it reaches salvation and whoever refuses is drowned." Imaam Maalik
"All humans are dead except those who have knowledge,
And those who have knowledge are asleep,
Except those who do good deeds,
And those who do good deeds are deceived,
Except those who are sincere,
And those who are sincere are always in a state of worry". [Imaam Shaafi'ee]
The Prophet said, "He who turns away from my Sunnah is not from me" al-Bukhari
Abu Huraira reported: Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The world is a prison-house for a believer and Paradise for a non-believer. Sahih Muslim, Book 42, Number 7058
Muhammed Salallahu alahi wa alihi sallam said: "The Muslim Ummah is 1 Ummah, to the exclusion of all others. Their land is 1, their war is 1, their peace is 1 and their trust is 1!" [Muslim]
If JESUS was here today, he'd look more like a Muslim.. and the kuffar world today will mistake their own acclaimed god for a terrorist! (christians)
Sometimes Allah breaks the spirit to save the soul...
He breaks the heart to make us whole...
Allows pain so we can be stronger...
He sends failure so we can be
humble...
Allows illness so we take better care of ourselves...
He takes everything away so we can learn the value of everything...
... Make plans, but understand that we live by Allahs grace. (s.o.a 2)
Umar ibn al-Khattab said: "Judge yourselves before you are judged, evaluate yourselves before you are evaluated and be ready for the greatest investigation (the Day of Judgement)".
"They want to extinguish the Noor (light) of the Deen of Allah with their tongues, but Allah has decreed that this Deen will be implemented even though the disbelievers hate it." [61: 8]
