I am old enough to be a fan of the original show and its many movie sequels. It's great that it is still alive in the form of movies and now prequels, but I worry that Roddenbury's messages are getting lost in the FX. The original show doesn't impress many young people because it looks "old" ...

I so hope that none of them will suffer from child-star-syndrome.

I love this scene. The look on Ned's face is gut wrenching...a father watching his little girl growing and changing and NOT in the way he had hoped. He can feel what's in her future.
