The G in the Masonic Tradition is a reference to G-D and the direct experience of G-D, which is yes... Gnosis.
It can also stand for Geometry in the sense that Geometry is the method by which REALITY Organizes Itself when IT Unfolds Itself into Itself. Then this too ends up being a reference to G-D as "The Grand Geometrician".
