I saw Byrd at our local county fair in Kalispell, Montana a few years back. Had drinks with him and the band after the show at our local tavern. Got to spend quite a bit of time with him talking and laughing. He is a mans man, a real great guy. And damn funny too, had me laughing all evening. :)
