Playing the vocal patterns on your snare during "Bleed" made my day haha. The original poly-rhythm wasn't hard enough with a back beat on 2 and 4. You created a layer to make it harder LOL. You are awesome man. I really enjoyed this.

Tool rocks every song, but Maynard makes this song when they play it live. Just saw them in Albuquerque and they opened with it. Took my hearing a while to come back.

Mendez lays down a fat ass bass line in this song. I love listening to him on the prog stuff. He and Lopez were one of the most versatile rhythm sections in music.

I really like the drum sound on this version, but it's just a refelction of the change of times and styles. I love the Cliff Burton version on bass though. He was a bass player above all others in metal.

@guitarkiller1965 It's Drop C. A whole step down then drop the what is now D to a C. System of a Down also used this tuning on the albums before mezmerize. It's essentially drop D but a full step down

@daschr1 Gibson custom made the guitar for James, but he endorses ESP guitars. The guitar is called the 1973 james hetfield maltese cross and pinstripe signature les paul. Gibson does not have a contract with James to mass produce this model for the public.

@jbennizzle Dude Mikeal is Opeth. He writes all of the parts, including the drum parts. So as long as Mikael is on Opeth, nothing will change sound-wise.
