If it doesn't work...than something is WRONG. If your light went off and came back on then apparently something is WRONG with the car causing it to be on. Waiting 30 minutes or any period of time gives the ECU time to clear the codes and reset itself basically. Tapping the brakes will do no go...

Love 500's! I ride a KXF450/500 regularly (not mine). Its a beast of a machine. I ride pro class (locally) and after about 6-8 laps holding on is near impossible. I'd love to have one, for practice purpose. Lol. They're a blast out on the track but just to much to RACE safely at a long peri...
