About Me:

vegan atheist prochoice progun teetotaler drug free bike riding (both motor and non) celibate virgin depopulationist exjogging voting nonlawnmowing art car creating overeducated blue collar investing redistributionist art house creating masturbating floridian old VW loving pit bull fan that worships science, humanism, freedom and more anarchy, minus my voting record of the last three elections including NADER, NADER and BARR respectively... The background is called CONJURE MAITZ:

http://www.paravia.com/DonM...

One of my favorite works of art

and a favorite quote i recently used in some artwork:

"To avoid criticism do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing." - Elbert Hubbard

To avoid not so peaceful coexistence mull over this tidbit of wisdom from THE AVATAR JOURNAL:

"When one persons belief of what better is conflicts with others beliefs of what better is; Better becomes so burdened with limitations that the only spark of intention that filters through is the urge to survive."

To avoid boring lack of conflict with people:

"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself."

- Friedrich Nietzsche

After this Nietzsche quote its a good time for another book plug that relates directly to this quote:

ESCAPE FROM FREEDOM by Erich Fromm

- no COMMENT PENDING APPROVAL here, and i don't delete comments (i blocked someone who posted detailed pedophile rape comments, and someone who was talking about killing and raping someone's mom, again in graphic detail...) so i like to escape from other's vile freedom from time to time...

and how far should that escape go? Here is a C.S. Lewis quote to ponder:

"To love at all is to become vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully around hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket—safe, dark, motionless, airless—it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable."
- C. S. Lewis, The Four Loves

I don't see how living like a hermit can be so selfish; it can't be as rewarding as the nuclear family, having plenty of friends, a white picket fence and golden retriever in upper crust suburbia can it? And maybe selfishness for oneself is best?:

"You may search the universe for someone more worthy of your love and affection than you are yourself, but such a person does not exist."

-Buddhist Proverb

Oh and yes, I have been always intrested in human emotions and how they deal with them, and yes the stress on our troops mind is something we are only beggining to understand, and something I feel, will never be able to completely understand. Vietnam was a political war, we killed more of them then us and we kept them on their side of the border that's enough of a win for me.
Sadly however, this war was never fought on oil, we just handed power over to the new Iraqi government on all major cities and we will be leaving in 2011, we are in there for the good of the people.

I agree with you on the statement of letting terrost off so easy in US prisons, hell a couple of times I was in charge of arresting a group of suspects, and as I approached him I asked him if he was Taliban, he smiled and said yes in perfect english.
I asked him if he had killed any Americans, he smiled and laughed, and then said to me "Hopefully after my little incarceration I can add you to that list."
He walked away, and two hours later he was out back on the streets, this war is to political, before he got off though I took a picture of him and showed some of my squad mates and some army battalion, I am happy to say I got that picture mailed to me only a month ago with an X over it.

I you watch Larry Kudlow on CNBC(former economic advisor to the White House and employee of Bear Stearns) he is often complaining that corporation tax rates in the US are the highest in the world and that makes it difficult to attract foreign corporations to move operations to the US or to keep US operations in the US.

It's all related to that "Laffter Curve" about diminishing returns from raising taxes at a certain level. It's quite complicated and finding the proper balance of taxation and incentives is difficult.

If you recall the late 1970's and early 1980's people were complaining about union rules and union wages wrecking american companies like the steel companies and auto manufacturers. There was a popular wave of enthusiasm for Ronald Reagan and supply side economics...and calls to lower individual income tax rates.

Personally I don't like supply-side economics(aka trickle-down economics or Reaganomics) because it artificially lowers taxes on the wealthy supposedly to attract more investment, domestic and foreign to the USA. But the problem is that if every country plays that game and lowers taxes on corporations and on the wealthy...the net result is just everyone having deficits and a wide income disparity gap.

Listen sunshine, don't you dare try and tell me what i am and what i'm not. I'm telling you that i'm English and not British. If you don't like that, i don't give a rats arse. Now run along and go and spout your holier than thou patronising "You are this" outbursts elsewhere.

Thanks for your nice words on my channel, it makes a nice change! But i will never ever accept being British as i'm not British. My ancestors can be traced back to England, not Wales or Scotland. It's the equivalent of America, Canada and Mexico being placed under a collective umbrella and being given a combined name. I dare say you would never accept that.

Opening up trade with China may have been a smart thing to do if you view it as "priming the pump"...they had to get the Chinese to open up their markets to the world by letting the Chinese come into western markets...initially it is disruptive to the US and western economies but eventually Chinese wages will rise and even out with the west as they have done in Japan.

elbe, african longevity shot up to about 35 years upon arrival in the new world as antebellum slaves, comparatively their longevity in africa was around 20... would you rather be enslaved by a local tribe that killed and made war against your friends and family and kept you alive to be a slave or would you rather be picked up by an anonymous business man and taken away from your destroyed life that would have been ruled and lorded offer by your conquerors... its hardly a good choice, and the middle passage was bad enough, but white slavery of blacks was far better than black on black war and slavery... how blacks have lived in america for the last few hundred years AT LEAST is evidence of this compared to africa, what could ever make you believe they would deserve to be equal anyway? african black IQs are 20 points or more below white euros...
