It was not fake..
The Caribou has a lock on the flight controls that was not removed/disengaged before flight...The aircraft rotated and continued to climb uncommanded.

I can see it needs:
-more power (2x IO-360's)
-larger wingtip sponsons (crosswinds are gonna sink the upwind wing)
-re-design of the bow section to reduce spray on the props...chines perhaps?
Otherwise it looks beautiful!!....
