so i got the spider iv 150s yesterday and it's pretty damn hard(for me) getting something were i can do solos, shredding and stuff like bullet for my valentine(with alot of harmonics) and i can't seem to find a good setting for that, any help? thanks.

okay i was thinking of buying a esp ltd v-50 it's cheap to buuuttt...it seems like strats can play metal to should i just buy another amp i got a sucky sp-10 (the one that came with the squier strat) and a ibanez 15w one..maybe a peavey vypyr would help with the metal sound?? I NEED ADVISE

@tsubasa1988 haha! i've been playing a strat for like 5 years..and i got to agree it takes more than to buy a guitar with a specific genre, but to be honest i'm still playing this same guitar 'cus i got a low budget i mean..i can't even work untill next year lol.

idk why but i think like this: practice in a not so good guitar and it will take more skill to make it sound good then change to a better guitar and it should sound amazing..
