@glenv10000 I had actually written to Natalie Merchant at the time, and she wrote me back a handwritten letter talking about Jevetta, saying in one word, that Jevetta and her voice were "magnificent"...........

I am an American guy that was living with a Samoan family (the Curry family) for a few months around Christmas 1992, in Apia, and remember hearing this on the radio there every day and loving it.................

So for me, the song brings back memories of Samoa........
