About this user

I am a member of the Society of Creative Anachronism since 1996. My kingdom is Calontir and I reside within the Barony of Vatavia. I am a heavy weapons fighter and have been practicing the art since fall of 1995. I have my favorite weapon systems those include Great sword, sword-n-shield, and *Florentine (two stick) fighting. I passionately believe that to become a better fighter always keep an open mind to learning new techniques, never think that you know everything there is to know, and always appreciate what another fighter has to show you. Even if you may not agree with the technique at least allow the fighter to show you how it's done. You never know as you might end up using that same technique later and or at least you know how that fighter likes to deliver his or her shots. I have been in the martial arts since the age of 7 (1977) and have studied many different styles from *Tae kwon do my first love, Hapkido, Koga Ryu, Escrima Arnis and Kali. I have always loved the art of wing chun and find the techniques very useful for full body fitness. I enjoyed Romano Grecian wrestling when I was a teen and had to retrain myself as not to use the Asian style of hand to hand combat. Fighting has always come as second nature to me and the art of fighting is one of my passions.
