ROCKSVILLE STATION is a multimedia cartoon series created by dyna meecho, LLC, an independent marketing firm located in New York City. The series is targeted at kids and takes place in one of the coolest "all ages" club's around featuring the house-band regulars "Split Tops" - a pair of cartoon rock and roll musicians trying to become the next "Rock Hero" video champions.
The gang consists of HOLLYWOOD, your "obsessed with fame" rock and roll singer and leader of the Split Tops, side-kick VISOR BOY, is the obnoxious girl-hound crazy guitarist. The cast also includes employees and patrons of Rocksville Station. RED "the guy who knows everybody" is the bartender and owner of Rocksville Station, BJ (whose initials stand for Bon Jovi) is the middle-aged barfly of the bunch, whose bitterness in life often clashes with everyone. Then there's little rocker chick RAVEN, a sweet young waitress whose naiveté is often the fuel for BJ's jealousy. Finally there's the childish pranks of SLIPPERY STEVE, a near by competition club owner who lives up to his name.
We open on one or more of the characters at the bar setting up the scenario for the viewer with a cheap joke that leads to the dilemma. Music plays a big part of the jokes as well as the atmospheric soundtrack. Echoing the bar humor of "Cheers" with an "Adult Swim" punch, Rocksville Station mixes the world of rock and roll with everyday life and current events.
