Malan Breton is the designer and creative director of Malan Breton Collection. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Breton, currently resides in New York City and Paris. He has been designing since the age of 11.

Known for his signature detailing, and fabrics. His men's and women's collections have been hailed as "classic," -NY Daily News, "beautifully executed" -WWD, and "glamorous" -Cosmopolitan. "perfectly tailored" -CBS News, and from CNN - "Breton clearly knows how to design with a woman's body in mind!"

Inspired greatly by his mentor Arnold Scaasi, Breton debuted his first women's collection at New York Fashion Week in 2005 and was featured as one of Women's Wear Daily designer women's collections to watch on the runway, in the WWD fashion week cheat sheet 2005. A position at Turnbull & Asser, and Breton's own quest in the men's market for modern silhouettes in suiting and sportswear inspired, Malan Breton menswear, a collection launched at New York Fashion week in 2010 to majour industry accolades.

Malan has dressed / jeweled stars like Michael Buble, Martha Plimpton, Minnie Driver, Kylie Minogue, Ariana Grande, Nikki Blonsky, Katrina Bowden, Kathy Lee Gifford, and Nolan Gerard - Funk, to name only a few. Breton's fashions have noted mentions on the Oscar, Grammy, Cannes, Golden Horse, and numerous other A-list red carpets around the world.

Known for designing the look of NBC's number one rated game show "Minute to Win It". Breton has also lent his expertise in the industry to Project Runway, Australia's Next Top Model, The Today Show, Smithsonian Cooper Hewitt, Princeton University, & the WGSN Global Fashion Awards, to name a few.

Breton has a syndicated, weekly, celebrity fashion column in OK! Magazine titled "Malan's Musings". Recently Malan's fashion coverage of the British royal wedding received 10.8 million unique views and has been picked up by over 100 publications.

Breton's fashions have been featured in magazines such as W, Harper's Bazaar, Women's Wear Daily, ELLE, Paper Magazine, New York Magazine, Rolling Stone, and many more. He has appeared on The Today Show, Entertainment Tonight, and Access Hollywood along with shows on ABC, NBC, CBS, BBC, Fox8, Arena, E!, Fashion TV, Bravo, MTV, VH1, ESPN, and many many others.

Breton was the subject of a six part series on Bravo TV titled "The Malan Show" "A six part series following the process of making it in America as an independent designer!" -Page Six

This season Malan Breton Homme and Malan Breton Collection will be featured weekly on Bravo TV's (NBC/Universal), The Real Housewives of New York City 4.

Malan Breton Collection is featured in stores globally, Breton's signature silks and his men's blazers are one of the hottest items amongst the male and female stars of Hollywood and the great white way.

As a humanitarian Malan donates much of his time to amfAR, Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS, and Care and Share India, with whom he introduced to and closed the NASDAQ in the fall of 2010.

Breton, a veteran of the ballet, finds the importance of promoting the arts. His signature fashion shows have featured dancers from The Royal Ballet, NYC Ballet, The SA Dance Company, and partnerships with musicians like Michael Buble/ Warner Reprise, Ariana Grande, The Chelsea Symphony, and others.
