Sahitya Shuddam is Nityasree' forte, much like DKP's.You can 'set the clock' by Nitya's pronounciation. Vani is a great singer too, but singing for a film doesn't pose so much a challenge as live performance. Like trying to compare a parrot with a cuckoo. The latter is a natural singer.

Mukeshji was often accused of having a nasal 'straight line' voice which did not admit of variations in pitch or melody. In my opinion that was his strength. It was up to the director to give him the right type of song. This song is a glorious example of his strength.

Most records (gramophones or cds ) , even the film shown now and then on TV omit the first portion 'Khamosh Hai Zamana' and start straight away with Aayega. 'rumahale' should be congratulated for getting hold of the full song and uploading it.
