"The Light Year" is one progressive rock group that gets stuck in your head and than lingers. The group's music is a happy marriage of symphonic music with Georgian folk, letting loose of the psychedelic, philosophic and really strong emotional charge. "The Light Year" performs both in Georgian and English and employs elements from both the classical and the folk music; larger part of the texts is written by the group; part of the texts are derived from various distinguished poets. "The Light Year" was created in March of 2004.
