Im actually in Tokyo right now and Darren just won the Katsumura fight! I love it at FTCC but I also love the standup at 445. Edge is my standup coach and Darren is my grappling coach. Darren is truly the best grappling coach in my opinion.

That being said I think we have a good thaiboxing program at FTCC it certainly is different though from 445. Why dont you try it out first, we have a 30 day free trial period at the gym so you can try it for a whole month!

No, you never want to have a pre-set plan going into a fight. You should instead adjust to the fight itself. So when you shadowbox, train as if you are fighting. Simply imagine an opponent in front of you, and fight him... and defend against him, and trick, counter, sweep, etc. In some rounds I will focus more on footwork, or hands, or sprints, yes. It's up to you. Just remember the way you train is how you will fight.
