Hello Everyone, I highly recommend that you check out LinkTV (dot) org for a different viewpoint of news from around the world. LinkTV also airs fine foreign movies.
I am a pretty mellow guy, and at age 60, I have seen a lot, but I have not seen everything, and I realize that there is a great amount that I will never see or know. I know that I do not know, and I am here to learn.
I respect other peoples opinions, but I do not tolerate ignorance, especially when it is expressed with obscenities. I believe that people who use this method to argue their point shows their inability to give good reasons to support their argument. They get frustrated with themselves, get angry and resort to use profanity. If you think you can make me mad by using these methods, I assure you that you will be getting my sympathy for your ignorance, and I recommend that you study that which you feel so strongly about, then revisit my channel an give a more reasonable argument. I am open to new ideas and evidence.
Let me make a few things clear, because many people have misinterpreted some of my posts. I am not a racist or bigot, though I do tend to try to put ignorance in its place, in which I think religion plays a big part. I like ProfMTH have no religion, but that does not mean that I have not studied religion. I have quit extensively, and I am currently reading the Qur'an, but don't expect me to quote anything here.
Having no religion does not mean I have no morals. I try to live by the golden rule to treat others as I wish to be treated.
I put my faith in Science, and although I realize science may not be able to answer all the questions, it has answered more important questions than any and all of the religious dogmas put together.
Some of the important immediate Issues I feel we all should all focus on are: Global Warming, Israel-Palestinian Conflict, re-instate our Constitution, Limit Government Surveillance, and always Question Authority.
One of my favorite TV programs on LinkTV is "Democracy Now," but for Now I would settle for an honest Republic.
