I really wanted the 1st generation of Google TV to work out well, but all the tech sites I trust seem to think Google TV is half-assed and far from being worth the high cost. Apple TV isn't perfect by a longshot, but its surely better than the Google TV devices. Maybe Google will see the major ...

I can tell you the three main groups of people (i.e. the 23 percent w/o internet usage):
(1) Luddites (2) poor people (3) cranky, stuck-in-the-past old people (not to say all old people are like this though)

Hello. I'm just an average guy. Nothing notable or praise-worthy, but I am here to watch others and comment when needed.NON-THEIST: I consider myself an atheist although in my teens and 20s I looked into various faiths from Buddhism, modern-day Deism, to New Age thought. Eventually after 15 years or so, I gradually, day by day, started to question all my beliefs in the supernatural and faith and found myself more and more an agnostic. Eventually, just one day, I said, I really don't believe in any of this and I have no doubts really, so I grew a pair and said I'm an atheist.
POLITICS: I don't support any political party. I believe political parties and every lobbying group no matter their cause or funding is a detriment to a proper and just Republic being in existence in the United States. (that and getting rid of all career politicians no matter their beliefs or ideologies. Term limits for all politicians are a great thing in my mind)
I'm a mix in my beliefs and do not fall into any group I believe.
2ND AMENDMENT: I support the right for individuals to have and use shotguns, pistols, and rifles in certain manners, yet I hate and disapprove of the concept of average people owning automatic weapons like machine guns and such weaponry. You have a right to defend yourself and your home, to belong to gun-clubs, and to hunt wild-game in my opinion and nothing else when using a gun.
SCIENCE: I support all things science based and technology enhancing. I think science and reasoning should be are primary subjects in all public schools. We need an American populace that actually embraces and advocates math, science, and reasoning and not one which only gives lip-service to it and actually shuns it in some manners.
ABORTION: I don't support abortions unless its for medical reasons like saving the mom or due to incest or rape. Other than that, I do believe abortion is a sort of murder on some scale. However, I do advocate sexual education being taught to all public school students and that it should not be dumbed-down for sake of offending the religious-minded or sexual prudes. I also support giving out condoms and anything that helps to stopping girls and women from getting pregnaet before they're ready for it. Sex is natural and should not be considered taboo as it is now in some areas of the USA.
