@kavikkalveedu Yes, Mohanam, I think. And very cleverly & masterfully done. You have to hum the tune and compare carefully with Mohanam's scale and you will realise that he is not taking off the combinations conventionally from the shadjam base. Devarajan!!

@susantrdg Raga is likely "Shyama" in Carnatic music. However, as usual, Devarajan has "lightened" it a lot and added a few combinations that are not probably acceptable to the purist. But he made a beautiful song, don't you think?

@musiquebox It is also sometimes felt like Shankarabharanam and even Navroz by some listeners. He has sung it the way Balamuralikrishna does - deeply contemplative and full of bhakti.

Basically in raga "Simhendra madhyamam" (I think) except for the bit in Shankarabharanam with a fairly good imitation of Chembai's electrifying style of swara singing. Composed by Jaya-Vijaya, also disciples of Chembai like Yesudas himself was.
