This was the last side-scrolling Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game for NES. It followed the highly acclaimed Turtles II over a year later and, unlike its predecessor, doesn't have an Arcade counterpart.
The third game in the series is basically the same as the second. The story and the stages are different, of course, but it doesn't really matter. Choose your favourite turtle and kill as many Foot Clan soldiers as you can, fight the bosses and reach Shredder in a Double Dragon-styled game.
The graphics and gameplay were improved. And, if the choice of the turtle depended only on personal taste in the second game (as they were all the same, in different colors), in this third episode they gained individual special moves.
Played in two player mode by Ravenlord & 18Delta :)

I saw that Longplays.org did this game for the Genesis/Mega Drive so I decided to do it for the NES and here it is. I'm a little rusty cause I havent played it in a few years but this was the best I could do even though I died like 6 times.

Petrini, filozof de profesie, e ridicat de Securitate, din pasnicul sau camin, si supus anchetei, din cauza unei scrisori interceptate pe care unul dintre fostii sai colegi de faculatate o incheia cu un banc stupid, schimbat frecvent intre ei: "Astept ordonante". Experienta de detinut in universul concentrationar si apoi intre zidurile la fel de inchise, ale "libertatii" ii largesc eroului orizontul filozofic.
"Un filosof nu e filosof ca se ocupa de filosofie asa cum bacanul traieste prin bacanie. Definita printr-o viziune mai ampla asupra existentei, conditia filosofului putea fi vizualizata cinematografic si printr-un gest, un detaliu comportamental revelator, nu prin emfaticul: "Eu, Petrini, sunt filosof ! Pot dovedi cu martori..." asa cum a procedat realizatorul. Nu se simte nicaieri, in filmul care se pretinde inspirat de romanul lui Preda - nici inaintea detentiei, nici in episoadele acestuia, nici dupa - detasarea gandirii filosofului in fata nimicniciei umane si a complexitatii cursului istoriei, fie si a mizeriilor diurne pe care le invinge, indurandu-le.
