I have held management positions where I trained, developed and motivated store managers, sales managers and associates in achieving high levels of merchandising standards, customer loyalty, and service. I also worked with General Managers, Divisional Merchandise Managers, Buyers and Planners in identifying trends implementing strategic sales and stock trends.

As a Buyer for a major department store chain I excelled winning several awards for exceeding gross margin goals through my development of Moderate, Better, and Young Designer Manufacturers. Working hand and hand with Designers in developing style, fit, and quality she established long term relationships.

I also have experience as a specialty store owner. I have worked with corporate buying offices in developing fashion forward styles for all niche stores. Working directly with Designers in New York and Los Angeles, I developed clothing lines for a special fit customer. This work included developing fit as a fit model for vendors, correcting specs, establishing standard cuts, choosing fabrications, developing cost effective pricing, planning shipment strategy for best flow of goods and finally approving merchandise before items were cut and shipped. I was consulted and quoted several times by WWD as an expert in her niche area.

As President of and International Organization for my niche market I worked with chain and specialty stores presenting lines and establishing cutting tickets.
