Founded in late 2010 by Gina Hoch-Stall, RLPiM started out as a group of movers interested in human lives, how we evolve and relate to one another. We discovered that within most major life events are smaller moments that matter just as much. Using movement to recognize and interpret these smaller moments, our dances resonate with audiences by quoting from the lives we are living, seeing and questioning. We are continually building a movement vocabulary that balances inventive, athletic movement with our interest in bringing human life onto the stage via familiar gestures and idiosyncratic tics. It is about virtuosity and looking beautiful but also about being exhausted and feeling nervous. It is about being human onstage—part performance, part real-life.
Love this guys, nice work!
