@gillwilkinsongw I brought 3 sons up on this music, one is a computer graphic designer, one is a nurse, and the youngest puts wiring in Formula 1 racing cars. They still love it.

Saw this film for the first time today on Channel 4, and knew that I would find this lovely song on wonderful Youtube. Thank you for doing all the work necessary for me to enjoy. I have pressed 'replay' approx six times already.

Great to watch this wonderful concert again, so exciting, wish I had been there.Watched it on BBC4 - fantastic scenes, ballet and the Vienna Boys Choir.

I wish that they would put in the credits the name of the singer of the traditional Geordie tune 'The Waters of the Tyne' at the end of this and other Catherine Cookson's adaptations, it is a beautiful song. There are several versions on Youtube which are excellent, mainly by children's choirs.

They seem to play this tune at the end of Catherine Cookson dramas on 'Yesterday', and the version sung by these girls is just lovely, their voices are excellent, beautiful harmony.

My mother's favorite composer, beautiful piece, like running water, wonderful rendition by this talented pianist. Lovely pictures too inspirational!

She had an angelic voice, like honey.

Police are currently looking into the possibility that this 'scum of the earth' also killed the little paper girl Genette Tate and Norfolk's long lost April Fabb. Poor little angels. If anyone deserved the death penalty, this is the man!
