i'm not really a granny - not yet - but i do giggle a lot. i'm a very independent vegetarian lady who is closer to 50 than 40 but hey, i can't believe it... really, i don't even see it in the mirror... but hey, it's reality, i never thought i'd get this far but i did.

anyways, it was a non-issue but then some clever 30 something decided to call me 'very old' and i decided the only way forward was to hold the issue in the light and give thanks. needless to say the clever 30 something has the joy of maturing years yet to come, all i can say is i wonder if it'll have trouble relating to the fact it's nearly 50 when it looks in the mirror when it's my age. i rest my case. yes, it was a real bite, but for all those others out there who are the funkiest dudettes and dudes at the party who are well over 40 i'm here to stake another claim on our being yes, the coolest folks at the party.... really!!!
