The documentary is not perfect, and is not in widescreen (or HD) -- but a modernization and update is needed as it still makes some very important points.
I could see the Canadian Discovery Channel or CBC / CTV running it, but I doubt it would be seen in the US on PBS or any other channel -- no matter how applicable it is to the US.
Vancouver, BC and Victoria have some of the same problems as Wellington +++ greater Tsunami risk if there is a fault slip event as in Sumatra on Boxing Day.
