Attention all Central Florida Bands!! Do you want free exposure to thousands of fans? Do you want a FREE professional video performance of you and your band, filmed in the Gibson Orlando Showroom? Do you want a chance to win $1000's of Dollars worth of Gibson Guitars, a Gibson Artist Endorsement, and a chance to perform with Anberlin and other national acts? Well if you answered yes to any or all of these questions, (and if your a musician, then you damn well better have), then we are looking for you! Gibson Guitars in Downtown Orlando is hosting the first ever in-house acoustic band competition: The Gibson Unplugged Artist Series! The Gibson Unplugged Artist Series will be filmed live in the World Famous Gibson Guitar's Showroom located in Downtown Orlando. Each month, three to six bands will be interviewed and filmed performing two of their original songs in an acoustic set in the showroom.
The band will be given Gibson acoustic guitars to use for the performance, as well as an entire crew to capture their live performance and broadcast it all over the web! The video performance will be edited and posted on the Gibson Orlando you Tube and Facebook pages. Once the videos are posted, the featured bands will have one month to drive as much traffic to their videos as possible, and get their fans to vote for their videos (See voting rules below). At the ned of each voting month, the winning band will be announced, and will automatically move on to the final round which will take place in October/ November. First, second, and third place will be awarded to the finalists, and prizes consist of thousands of dollars worth of guitars, Gibson brand merchandise, and a performance at a private event with a National Touring Band!! Slots for performances are limited, and the competition is first come first serve, so send in your applications today! We will review your submissions, and chose contestants based on vocal and musical ability, stage presence and performance, and amount of draw and fan base.
