@DiffusedMusic as for the jump, thats good and I can't truly explain it. my best guess is it had something to do with being that far inside the dreams and the heavy sedation -- that she had to kill herself in that final stage of the dream otherwise she'd be trapped -- which is why Cobb didn't jum...
