Sadly it's easy to sharpen a blade if you have this type of setup. I'd like to see how you do it by hand with a file. This is nice to know how the professionals do it with expensive machines but I'm looking for how professionals do it with hand tools I have at home.

That's actually the perfect dog to have in the home for self-defense. Get a rottweiler in the yard and a Pomeranian in the house. The big dog will hopefully deter someone from your home where the smaller dogs tend to be more vocal and can warn you if someone does get in the house.
