@plntntvzn Largent undoubtedly downplayed his speed because he's so intelligent, plus it's deception and acceleration that count. Top end speed is almost never needed. How many times have you seen a player run 40 yds. let alone 60 or 100......p. s. l'argent is French for money/silver.

@ureadmymind first to use wah wah (before it was a pedal)! Everything else is just Gibson and amps. He plays loud and legato say on I'm so Glad he plays 3 lines on 2 tracks. The volume is so high the feedback is a separate melodic line.
Trower was good but band was great because because Jim Dewar had the sexiest blues voice ever.
