Gianni Placido is a professional didjeridoo player since 1997, one of the first in Italy. He studied with Paride Russo and actually he continues to follow workshops by some of the most representative players of the international scene such as Mark Atkins and Jeremy Cloake. Gianni lives in Bologna city where he teachs since 2001 and regularly since 2005. Gianni conducts workshops all over Italy and is currently promoting his latest cd "Ab Origine", performing with 9 ethnic instruments and several featurings.
