Do a search for "Darren Brown and Chi" - where he does a demonstration of suggestion - he has no martial arts training to my knowledge but is rather an expert in suggestion and illusion. Very telling. I would add the link but don't seem to be able to.

Why are these demonstrations only with his students? It would be interesting to see if there is the same effect when applied to someone randomly pulled from out of the crowd. I can't help but feel that there may a bit of suggestion at play here.
