"I may not believe in myself...
but I believe in what I'm doing".
--Jimmy Page--
*****************************
Im just another student of the guitar, self-taught and Ive been playing for 3 years and a half now.
As most self-taught people, I started with tabs, and then moved to ear learning cuz most tabs are wrong.
I post covers of the songs I like, and I always try to be accurate on the notes.
As you can see, my favourite bands are Led Zeppelin & Guns N' Roses, but I like trying other bands and different styles.
Thank you all for watching, rating and subscribing!

About Me:
My Philosophy:
When I was starting at playing guitar, I looked for help everywhere on the internet. Asked for tips and opinions, and most times I didnt get any answer. It took me a long time to understand simple stuff.
Ive been playing guitar for 3 years and a half now, and you can ask me stuff related to guitar if you think Im good enough.

VIRTUAL GUNS:
I always loved Jun626's virtual bands (Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and The Beatles).
I've learnt a lot from his videos, he's been an inspiration to me, and this is not the exception.
Thats why I got this idea. Asked around, and I found very talented musicians.
We are not professional musicians, we dont have a Studio to record all of our parts. All the recording and editing is made with the simple gear that each one of us has.
Our objectives are:
- Making a decent tribute to the best hard rock band ever.
- Being as accurate as we can on the notes, cuz most people doesnt seem to care about that.
- And last but not less important, having fun!
Showing off, copying their clothes or messing around are NOT our objectives.
I hope you like this project!

F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions):

HOW DID YOU START PLAYING GUITAR?
It was the last days of December 2005, by that time I was having a crush on Led Zeppelin songs.
I was at some friend's house doing some homework together, then one of the guys was fooling around with a guitar, and he started playing Stairway to Heaven. I recognized it since the very first second, and it blew me away!! Why? because I loved Led Zeppelin and I loved Stairway so much, BUT... I never thought I could play that song with my own hands, it just never crossed my mind.
I couldnt take that idea out of my head, and then I decided it, I gotta learn guitar! =D
So, on January 1st 2006, I started playing an old and cheap nylon string guitar...

WHATS YOUR GEAR?
I don't have fancy equipment, just enough stuff to play around and record my covers for youtube. I hope to get more stuff when I finish the University, and start working. For now, this gear works great, and it gets the job done, thats what matters.
- Epiphone Les Paul Standard (China, 2005)
- Fender Stratocaster (México, 1992)
- Zoom G2.1u effects pedal
- Dunlop GCB95 Cry Baby
- Jay Turser electro-acoustic guitar (nylon)
*****************************
WHAT AMP DO YOU USE?
I dont use amp on my videos, because I dont have a decent amp, so I had to figure out a way, and I found my effects pedal has USB port to record directly to the computer (no need to use amp).
*****************************
WHAT SOFTWARE AND CAMERA DO YOU USE?
Programs:
- Cyberlink Powerdirector 7
- Cubase LE
Camera:
- Sony Cybershot DSC-W120

HOW DO YOU RECORD YOUR VIDEOS?
I'll explain it by steps:
1. I connect my guitar to the effects pedal.
2. I connect the effects pedal to the computer (USB port)
3. I open Cubase LE on my computer, it will record my playing only.
5. I connect my headphones to the Output jack on my effects pedal, this way I will hear the backing track and my playing.
4. I put the camera in place ready to record my video.
5. I get in place, and start recording with both: the camera (video) and the computer (audio).
6. When I finish, I will get my Video in a .MPG file from my camera and my Audio in a .WAV file from Cubase LE.
7. Then Im ready for the editing process. I gotta synch my playing and the backing track, I do this using Cubase. Here, I get the Final Audio for my video.
8. I use Powerdirector to synch my Video and the Final Audio.

WHAT'S UP WITH YOUR USERNAME? ;)
Ok, this is off the subject. But I get this question often so...
When I was opening my first youtube account, I wanted "gewehr43" as my username, but it was already taken, so I decided to change the "h" from its place, and I got "gewerh43" as username on december 6th 2006.
On past december 2008, I got that account hacked, and I had to open a new account, I just added a number to the username, its this account: "gewerh44".
Gewehr 43 is a german semiautomatic rifle model of 1943 (obviously) used during World War II by the Wehrmacht.
Yes I like firearms and history too, and I had no idea it would end up as my account for guitar covers ;)
