Im just another student of the guitar, self-taught and Ive been playing for 5 years now.
As most self-taught people, I started with tabs, and then moved to ear learning cuz most tabs are wrong, and also, cuz we have to learn to use our ears if we want to be musicians one day, thats what I think.
I post covers of the songs I like, and I always try to be accurate on the notes.
I noticed that there are a lot of improvisation videos already. I love improvisation when playing around, but I decided to focus on precision when doing my videos, just to offer something different. Also, I was highly inspired by the best hard-rocker on the tube, Jun626 whose personal seal is "perfect precision".
I wanna think Im not the only one that enjoys an audio and visual arrangement of how the guitars were recorded in the songs we love.
As you can see, my favourite bands are Led Zeppelin & Guns N' Roses, but I like trying other bands and different styles.
Thank you all for watching, rating and subscribing!

About Me:
More about me:
When I was starting at playing guitar, I looked for help everywhere on the internet. Asked for tips and opinions, and most times I didnt get any answer. It took me a long time to understand simple stuff. For example, it took me almost 1 year to understand what a bending was. I would only slide instead.
Ive been playing guitar for 5 years now, and you can ask me stuff related to guitar if you think Im good enough.

F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions):
First off, I'd like to say that my recording way changed drastically. I used one way to record my sound on all of my vids before December 2010. Then I started using a new way to record starting on December 2010, so now you know. Keep that in mind when reading these F.A.Q.

HOW DID YOU START PLAYING GUITAR?
It was the last days of December 2005, by that time I was having a crush on Led Zeppelin songs.
I was at some friend's house doing homework together. One of the guys was fooling around with a guitar, and he started playing Stairway to Heaven. I recognized it since the very first second, and it blew me away!! Why? because I loved Led Zeppelin and I loved Stairway so much, BUT... I never thought I could play that song with my own hands, it just never crossed my mind.
I couldnt take that idea out of my head, and then I decided it... I gotta learn to play guitar! =D
So, on January 1st 2006, I started playing an old and cheap nylon string guitar...

WHATS YOUR GEAR?
- Epiphone Les Paul Standard (China, 2005) (with Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro pickups since February 2010).
- Fender Stratocaster (México, 1992) (with Dimarzio PAF pickups, new pickguard, tuners and electronics since December 2010).
- Zoom G2.1u effects pedal (used on all of my vids before December 2010).
- Dunlop GCB95 Cry Baby
- Jay Turser electro-acoustic guitar (nylon).
- Marshall MA50c amplifier (used on videos since December 2010).
*****************************
WHAT AMP DO YOU USE?
- On videos before December 2010:
I don't use amp in my videos cuz my effects pedal has very decent amp simulations, and it allows me to record directly to the computer with no need to use a real amp. Besides I dont have an amp to use it.
- On videos since December 2010:
I use a Marshall MA50c amplifier.

WHAT SOFTWARE AND CAMERA DO YOU USE?
Programs:
- Cyberlink Powerdirector 8
- Cubase LE
Camera:
- Sony Cybershot DSC-W120

HOW DO YOU RECORD YOUR VIDEOS?
- On videos before December 2010:
I'll explain it by steps:
1. I connect my guitar to the effects pedal.
2. I connect the effects pedal to the computer (USB port)
3. I open Cubase LE on my computer, it will record my playing only.
5. I connect my headphones to the Output jack on my effects pedal, this way I will hear the backing track and my playing.
4. I put the camera in place ready to record my video.
5. I get in place, and start recording with both: the camera (video) and the computer (audio).
6. When I finish, I will get my Video in a .MPG file from my camera and my Audio in a .WAV file from Cubase LE.
7. Then Im ready for the editing process. I gotta export my playing and the backing track, I do this using Cubase. Here, I get the Final Audio for my video.
8. I use Powerdirector to synch my Video and the Final Audio.
Also, check out my video "Recording" where I show things about this subject.
- On videos since December 2010:
Regarding the video recording, everythings the same, but the audio recording is different now. I dont use the Zoom G2.1u effects pedal.
I mic my MA50c amp, take that signal to an interface and it sends the signal to the computer so Cubase can record it. Pretty simple.
Check out this picture where I explain my new recording way:

WHAT'S UP WITH YOUR USERNAME? ;)
Ok, this is off the subject. But I get this question often so...
When I was opening my first youtube account, I wanted "gewehr43" as my username, but it was already taken, so I decided to change the "h" from its place, and I got "gewerh43" as username on december 6th 2006.
On past december 2008, I got that account hacked, and I had to open a new account, I just added a number to the username, its this account: "gewerh44".
After some days, I got to recover the old account (gewerh43), so I kept it as a backup account.
Gewehr 43 is a german semiautomatic rifle used by the Wehrmacht during World War II.
Yes I like firearms and history too, and I had no idea it would end up as my account for guitar covers ;)
