We at SMART envision an Oregon where every child can read and is empowered to succeed.
SMART provides one-on-one literacy support and new books to more than 10,000 Oregon kids every year. Our statewide network of 10,000 volunteers helps children become confident readers and productive citizens.
Our YouTube channel includes tips for our volunteers, as well as links to videos about the immediate need to increase the literacy proficiency of young children - in Oregon, in the U.S., and globally.
