For more then 30 years I have been helping communities build stronger safer lives. I've conducted seminars and workshops for tens of thousands across the country that inspire, energize, and empower providing the tools to live a life of confidence. I am the author of the recently published "The Gift of Freedom: A Stronger, Safer, You." which is on track to become a New York Times Best Seller. I believe everyone can benefit from learning a few simple techniques to keep them safe in an increasingly unsafe world.
My background in martial art advocacy and law enforcement provide a powerful foundation as I deliver my message of hope, freedom and empowerment. Despite working in such a serious field my approach is designed to create an upbeat optimistic environment. My style has been described as engaging, humorous, and insightful.
Get Safe encompasses several community programs
1. Breaking Barriers -- A recovery program specializing in survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. Whether it's dating, travel, or work, helping individuals go from fear to freedom.
2. GS -- CAT - Social and legal advocacy services provided for vulnerable populations
3. Get Safe -- personal safety and self defense training tailored for general and special populations.
