Urdu language has produced superior masterpieces :) and is traditinally considered to possess the richest and incomparable reportoire of ghazals.

but no doubt people like "Ghayal" have given a wonderful stature to Gujarati ghazals.

someone said it right.. a human being could not hv created this music.. he was God.. incarnated as human being.. and goddess Saraswati herself in the form of Lataji made the melodies timeless, immortal and incomparable..lucky r the people who hv met madanji, seen him, shook hands with him, listen...

urdu:jaane ab tuj se mulaqaat kabhi ho ke na ho

Translation: Who knows whether we shall see each other ever again in this lifetime

Urdu:jo adhoori hi rahi woh baat kabhi ho ke na ho

Translation: Who knows whether we shall be able to say/express to each other ...

Lataji is goddess Saraswati personified.. people say Gods are not visible.. but in Lataji, it is possible...

Wonderful.. like all the instrumentals of professor sahab...

what a gifted artist.. i listen to this dozens of times in a week and marvel at the amazing talent, the clarity and soothing nature of the playing.. may Mr. Enoch live long and people enjoy his masterful craft for years to come..
