Like most preacher's kids, Jerome Frierson was given a microphone and was thrust before a congregation at the age of three. Since then, Jerome's gift has enabled him to sing at a wide variety of venues. In high school, he was one of the gospel choir's lead vocalists and formed a group called Voices of Divinity. He performed at various high school functions including graduation where he performed an arrangement of the national anthem. Jerome has also shared the inspiration of gospel music among various influential people and some well known artists. To name a few, he has served as a background vocalist for: Bishop Eric McDaniel on his upcoming, "I Am Favor" album, Kim Burrell under the auspices of The Lords Church Cathedral Choir, Jason Hendrickson & NuSoundz, and the internationally renowned, Harlem Jubilee Singers. He has performed on Al Sharpton's "National Action Network" radio broadcast which aired on 1190 WLIB and performed at Lehman College in support of the Urban Male Leadership program where the Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz jr. was keynote speaker. In 2010, as the praise and worship leader at Harlem Pentecostal Assembly, Jerome formed the group Pure Worship along with other talented, young singers. As the Worship team at Harlem Pentecostal Assembly, Pure Worship ministers weekly encouraging souls to come to Christ and be an example for this generation under the biblical principle of John 4:24, which states: "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."
