About Geppetto & the Whales
Geppetto & The Whales staat voor grootse songs en hemelse zangpartijen.
'Oh My God' , de eerste single van dit vijftal kleurde mee de zomer van Radio 1 en maakte de weg vrij naar de zomerfestivals van 2011, waar het publiek telkens opnieuw verrast werd door hun aanstekelijke live-set. Hoogtepunten waren ondermeer Festival Dranouter en Maanrock.
Ook de organisatoren uit het Belgische clubcircuit reageren erg positief (AB, Botanique, Vooruit, Het Depot, N9 ...) en inmiddels komen de shows uit Nederland eveneens vlot binnen (Mezz, Effenaar, Willem II, Doornroosje ...).
De nieuwe single 'Juno' doet het nog beter en staat momenteel in dagrotatie op zowel Studio Brussel als Radio 1. De single steeg inmiddels naar 10 in de Afrekening van Studio Brussel en de clip staat vanaf deze week online.
In voorjaar 2012 wordt de eerste EP van Geppetto & The Whales verwacht. De debuutplaat zal er zijn in 2013.
