JANE POWELL SING- MASSENET ARIA 1944

A YOUNG JANE POWELL SINGS...GAVOTTE" FROM MANON.

    georl1 georl1 commented:

Re: BarkingMadTwo. That's the way the arias are written. It's not that the singers chose to hold the notes for a long period of time, it;'s the way the composer wants it. If you can't reach high notes and hold them for any length, then don't complain about those who are trained to do so.

Elm Street Car Show Part 8

Manchester New Hampshire Classic Car Show

My buddy and I brought our classics to this show. We were parked in the Merrimack Commons in front of the band stand. This show was a big disappointment. There were more new cars and street rods then there were true classics and antiques.

This girl has a remarkable voice for her age. She should listen to some of Deanna Durbin's songs who was also a young teenager when she was discovered back in the 1930's.It would also be nice to see Jackie sing some of those songs.

@elkh1 Not propaganda at all. We were a country at war. People were very patriotic back then, not like today where people don't give a damn. people had feelings back then, not like today. Times change and so do people.
