Great taste Gordon and interesting background introduction. But the voice is too breathy, and the surging of the voice above the Warlock harmonies does not work.

@I85PIES That will be Tom on guitar. I think Benny Gallagher on bass of Gallagher and Lyle fame. Also Mike d"Abo on right hand keyboard. I thought they were using Mike Vickers on flute at that stage, not Voorman.

Fantastic song - not so live as it looks! Great vocals and harmonies. Similar format to Mamas and the Papas - amazing more did not form quartets like this one.

This is a very moving performance and in particular, the long phrases do much to shape the message and music. Personally, I think the tempo is a wee bit slow, but otherwise it is my ideal performance.

I notice that the sheet music in the image is of a different setting of this hymn. I am glad the voice is not singing this tune!!

They were a great couple. Wrote all these fantastic songs. And she's great singer for these songs with him chipping in and harmonising well. He is a true musician.
