I feel the same. Seen similar (2) and (4) dancing (dim) light patterns in the sky in S. NJ. Appears to be cast above the clouds (what I saw), not from below. Rainy night - can't see it being a hoax or Grand Opening event, since they didn't lead you anywhere, but confused.

My sister and I have observed the same (4) light pattern in S. Jersey (09-30-2011). Plus, a second set of (2) lights were also in a separate elliptical pattern.
