well mauritius is a tropical paradise -
A developing country with sun - sea and sand -
Lots of exotic places -
very beautiful :P
Russian metal? I have heard Arkona and think they are very good. I particularly like the conservative values that their singer, Masha Scream espouses. She encourages young women to put motherhood before career, not an opinion commonly expressed by female musicians.
I have probably heard other Russian metal bands on You Tube. I am a big fan of Hate Forest/ Drudkh, but they are from Ukraine.
Perhaps Ataraxia are a little too serious. Part of why I enjoy metal and punk is because they are very earthy. I like sophisticated stuff like Ataraxia, but I find it a bit highbrow sometimes.
I suppose you must be keen on Dead Can Dance if you like Ataraxia?
A kiss!
Certainly there is a lot of mysticism in Blake that is similar to eastern Christian thought.
Blake's work is saturated in Scripture, but I doubt that his interepretations were very orthodox, in either a western or eastern sense.
One interesting thing about Blake's illustrations of Job is that Job's wife appears in nearly each picture, making her a full participant in Job's trial.
I do not, however, regard him as a Christian in any meaningful sense. I am not an expert on Blake, but from what I understand his thought is an odd mix of Occult Gnosticism and humanism.
