The Golden Gate aka Sha'ar Ha'T'shuvah-Sha'ar Ha'Rakhamim {The Repentance Gate-The Mercy Gate}, is the main entrance to Beit Ha'Mikdash {The Holy Temple} and faces Har Ha'Zeitim {The Mount of Olives} on the eastern side of the Old City; it is the only one of the eight gates in Yerushalayim that is double-arched — and sealed. Ha'Naviim {The Prophets} tell us that since Muslims know Ha'Y'hudim {The Jews} expect Melekh Ha'Moshiakh {The Messiah King} and She'China {The Divine Presence} will enter through this dual-portal {The North-Eastern part is Sha'ar Ha'T'shuvah and The South-Eastern part is Sha'ar Ha'Rakhamim}, Sultan Suleiman sought to prevent this from happening and blocked it with stones; he also dug a Muslim cemetery in front of the Siamese-Gate, disbelieving that no Jewish holy man would defile himself by walking through a graveyard. Thus, in A.D. 1541, The East Gate was walled up by Muslim Ottoman Turks — but won't be shut for much longer — AM YISRA'EL HAI-HAI!
