@JOEGRAMz might have been a reenactment...?? The english guys who made this (in 1996 i think) said so in 2006... So at the best it`s a reenactment. Still a very good chance of just being another 100% hoax. Not saying the story isnt real, but this footage is fake.

I have no idea about the story behind this kid`s suicide or why he did it, but he seams really sad, even when he gets a cool new snowboard for cristmas. Sad to see...
