Excellent film! Good performances by Franciosa and especially Patty Duke. The scene where Franciosa finds June Allyson hanging from the ceiling wrapped in spider silk is really frightening. Great film all arround. Highly recommended!

@Zarkania7 : Absolutely! Next to Lugosi, Lee is the greatest portrayer of Dracula. I am a great admirer. To his credit, he never tried to copy Lugosi, but created his own, and equally valid, interpretation

Not a bad movie at all. It is misnamed though. It should have been Atom Age Dr. Jekyll. The story was more like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde than any vampire plot.

My favorite show of the late seventies. Passing as a science fiction series, it was actually a fine adult drama. Bill Bixby played David Banner as a decent, yet tormented character. Jack Colvin's Jack Mcgee was a textured, three dimentional antagonist instead of a cardboard cut-out villian. ...

My favorite show of the early seventies. It was not only dramatic, but thoughtful as well. Caine only used his martial arts to protect himself or others, he was never the aggressor. Phillip Ahn, Keye Luke, and Radames Pera provided solid supporting roles. I have the entire series on DVD. M...

NoworkFilmStudio: In Jurassic Park the dinosaurs were the stars. The humans were reduced to support roles. In Independence Day, the reverse was true. The characters were front and center and the special effects were support. It was a much more moving and interesting film because of this.
Someone said this is the one that created Godzilla. Actually, it was probably Ivy Mike.
