Yeah, sure... I bet that they, too, ride around with one wrist on the steering wheel and drive too far to the left--like most Americans--and they probably text message or chat on cellphones while they drive!

New Yorkers, like all Americans, are pretty lousy (and incorrigible) drivers. Enforcement is almost non-existent, since the worst drivers are the cops themselves. Not only safety, but efficiency is lost... if they were able to drive properly, we'd all get around just as fast but far more safely!
