I saw some great bands in Chatham.I lived in Gillingham from 69 to 75;went to gillingham grammar.

Btw was this Yes concert pre Rick Wakeman?.I saw them a few times there.

@dvdkinman Hi.This is a great clip.To my old and battered ears the two sets sound similar but the SDs do have a slightly more rounded/smooth quality,particularly the bridge.

I think you are right -not quite as thick/overdriving/dirty as the Mule.

Recently compared the 57s on an SG to the BB pros on my LP - just needed an EQ tweak to get them to sound very similar.(more mid and bass needed on the 57s).

Reassuring that you are using ceramic caps as opposed to the expensive,harder to get PIOs.Its a really nice sound at all vol. levels esp. straight into the amp - must look into sourcing a windsor!

BTW the Univibe sound is great.

I'm not sure whether its justified but this clip has put me right off miniH/Bs and P90s.I thought lollars were some of the best.Maybe thats only their full size H/Bs?

Nice demo.I dont dislike the stock pups,they seem to have a little more mids.The SDs seem a little more scooped.I had this SD pup combo in a handbuilt all mahogany d-cut gtr.Geat pups but surprisingly not well balanced as the Jazz was too thick sounding and so I changed it for a Dimarzio Humbucke...
