@NORTHinuit You're absolutely correct. There is this incorrect impression overseas that Toronto and indeed the rest of Canada is cold year round. We have 4 full seasons with the extremes of temperatures that come with them. Toasty in summer and cold in winter.

@EasternOntarioTracks Yes. VIA 40 and VIA52 run as a J-Train as far as Brockville. VIA 40 usually being LRC stock and VIA 52 Renaissance (ex-Nightstar) stock.

As an aside, and as a mark of confidence in these coaches, VIA Rail now uses the seated Nighstar coaches on their premiere train, VIA 66 and 67 (Toronto-Montréal). I have found them...

Nice catch! While I do not know which GO Trains those were, I know exactly which VIA that doubleheader was. It's the 2xP42DC + 10 Renaissance set of VIA 66.
