I am retired from public service. In a previous life I was a certified public accountant (C.P.A) for french high schools. I spent 15 years in the Caribbeen, Saint Barthelemy first, then to Saint Martin. In addition of apnea and the art of napping my stay in the Isles allowed me to learn computers and English. What has been useful after, both
in my work and to avoid the bleak evenings of local TV.
I then spent 12 years in Reunion Island where I live now. I have 60 years since December 2006 and I did not see time going on.
As somebody writes old age is a drama not because we get old but because we stay young.
I love computers because it moves all the time, sports and stay far away for the same reason, food and drink pleasures, and humor because life is short and ends badly.
My favorite motto is from Nietzsche: "We must follow our slope, provided it's by going up "
Finally, because everything has one end, I can only agree with Woody Allen when he writes: "It's not that I'm afraid of dying. I just want to not be there when it will happen "
