What kind of a video was this? He didn't address the title of his video..."How to REPAIR bald spots on grass". It's possible that you might have bugs that are destroying the grass at the roots. Kill the bugs and the grass will grow back.

@KiddyPoops ...agree. I turned on the faucet as hot as I could take it for about 30 seconds or so. I think the hot water kills or deadens the nerves and you won't feel the itch. Made a world of difference.

Would have been good to mention that the best time to water is in the early morning hours when it is cooler vs. the heat of the day when water can evaporate.
