Gary Berry born in Marion Indiana the eldest of three boys and one sister life was not so easy growing up in the Midwest. With overly religious family creative freedom was a four time a week church outing. At the tender age of sixteen, Berry decided to leave the confides of the Midwest and went on a soul searching mission to find himself. Once Berry landed in Los Angeles Berry knew he found hes home. Berry Modeled in hes earlier years as well as some acting. But found much success in the area of sales for such companies as Saks Fifth Avenue, Barney New York, and Hugo Boss. Berry was a top performer for all these companies responsible for over One Million in sales. Bored with cooperate politics Berry decided to join forces with at that time unknown designer Merlin Castell. I made it my mission to manage this budding talent says Berry. After seeing one of Castell earlier collections at The Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. I was so inspired, it was at that moment Berry decided to change Castell life In 2002 Merlin Castell LLC Was formed. Berry, critics agree is the wizard behind the scenes and in part is instrumental in the now successful design house. In the six years the dynamic duo have focused on going strong as a stream engine, designing for emerging hot celebrities with much success.
